Ways To Give

Here are a few suggestions:

Name GNGH Foundation as beneficiary in your will,
life insurance policy or your registered retirement
plan. There can be significant tax benefits for you
today or for your estate.*

Transfer ownership of s ecurities, stocks, bonds,
publicly traded company shares and/or property
(also known as "gifts in kind"). When done properly, this
could eliminate capital gains taxes and provide you with
a tax credit that you can use up to six years.*

Make a pledge to contribute regularly (monthly or
annually). Contact the GNGH Foundation office and let
us help you arrange this simple way to give.

Make a one time contribution. Mail us your cheque.
Stop by our office. Donate online through Canada
Helps -- its a secure online website used by all
registered charities in Canada.

Payroll deductions can be arranged through most
places of work -- some employers match employee
contributions. Call your HR Department for details.

With a some planning you can contribute to the growth of our hospital
through the GNGH Foundation.

insurance agent and/or accountant) when
making gifts through beneficiary
designations or transferring ownership of
personal assets.

There are significant tax benefits to
making a charitable gift, but it must be
done in accordance with federal and
provincial regulations as well as Canada
Revenue Agency. Your professional
advisor together with the GNGH
Foundation staff can assist you in making
a gift that benefits you and the Foundation.

For example, there is a difference in tax
implications between making an outright
gift of securities versus cashing them in
and giving the money to the GNGH
Foundation. Talk to the experts before
